Embodied Healing

Clinician Information Session

The goal isn’t to feel calm.

But to build awareness of internal experience so there’s more possibility for choice.

An introduction to Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) and embodied approaches to trauma recovery.

,Why embodied approaches?

Many clients understand their trauma cognitively, yet continue to experience:

  • chronic hypervigilance

  • dissociation

  • shutdown

  • emotional overwhelm

  • panic

  • difficulty accessing safety in their bodies

This clinician information session offers an introduction to an evidence-based, body-oriented approach to trauma treatment through Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY).

ABOUT EMBODIED HEALING

  • somatic awareness

  • art therapy processes

  • trauma-informed relational practice
